CAREERS

Kona Counseling was founded in February 2020 with the fundamental idea of creating an environment where clients and therapists can grow and meet their full potential. As an associate therapist, I wanted to be a part of a group where practicing therapy could be my primary focus, where I could grow my skillsets while working with my desired populations, where I would be treated like the medical professional I was, and I would also be compensated fairly and timely. I was driven, eager to learn, responsible, competent, and capable. I wasn’t able to find this group as an associate, so I decided to build it once I became a professional counselor. Kona offers associate and professional therapists a place to practice their desired therapy, control their schedule, be a part of a team while also having ample autonomy, and are compensated twice a month for the sessions completed during the current pay period. Kona is able to offer quality therapeutic services because we are able to hire and retain top-notch therapists. A therapist who is motivated, inquisitive, teachable, knowledgeable, diligent, organized, and accountable, regardless of years of experience, can be successful in this role.  If you got excited reading this then Kona sounds like the group for you. I can’t wait for us to meet.
